Hi, I’m Miss Kala.
I created SparkLab because I believe every student deserves access to hands-on STEM experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and real-world problem-solving skills.
After a decade of working with young people in schools and out-of-school programs, I saw how powerful team-based STEM learning could be. SparkLab was built to give students opportunities to explore, create, lead, and discover what they’re capable of becoming.
Today, SparkLab partners with schools, libraries, and community organizations across Philadelphia to make STEM learning engaging, accessible, and fun for every student.
